How many people outside Egypt even know it has a vast and thriving railway network? This is a knowledge and community site that aims to increase awareness and provide a central ‘hub’ for this historic diverse railway, as well as sharing some great products and as much unpublished material as we can find. We hope you can supply some more (full credit given of course).

We welcome comments, but have disabled comments as we do not have the resources to moderate comments or monitor for spam. If you want to contact us, please do use the form. In addition, if you would like to sell something on here, just get in touch and we’ll set up the appropriate links to display your product in the Shop (and ensure you get paid for your sales).

We’re attempting a large project, which is to display or write something about each of Egypt’s 732 stations and halts. It might take a while but we’re not sure how long. We’re also working on how to publish current all-line all-train all-class timetables in English.
